Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice informs you, as a visitor to our website and as a user of our services, about the data processing and data protection rules of the Money and Culture Foundation.

1. Principles of Data Processing
In the course of processing personal data, we follow the principles set out in Article 5 of the GDPR, including:

We process personal data lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner for you.

We collect personal data only for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes, and do not process them in a manner incompatible with those purposes.

The personal data we collect and process are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes of processing.

We take all reasonable measures to ensure that the personal data we process are accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; inaccurate personal data are rectified or erased without delay.

We store personal data in a form permitting identification of data subjects only for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data.

We process your personal data based on prior information and your voluntary consent, and only to the necessary extent and always in a purpose-specific manner.

In certain cases, processing of your data may be based on legal obligations and thus be mandatory.

In some cases, processing of your personal data may be based on our legitimate interests, such as operating and securely developing our website.

Purposes, Legal Bases and Retention Periods
Performance of contract: registration, admission, ensuring participation – GDPR Art. 6 (1)(b).

Retention: 1 year after the closing of the event (for the purpose of legal claims).

Legal obligation: invoicing and accounting records – GDPR Art. 6 (1)(c).

Retention: 8 years.

Legitimate interest: IT security (logging), fraud prevention, claims management, documentation of the event (general photos) – GDPR Art. 6 (1)(f).

Retention: logs 90 days, event photos generally 3 years.

Consent: newsletter/marketing, optional profile data, close-up portraits, data transfer to third countries for marketing purposes – GDPR Art. 6 (1)(a).

Retention: until withdrawal / deleted after 2 years of inactivity.

Written agreements are concluded with each processor in compliance with Article 28 GDPR.

3. Cookies
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer when using our website. They may be deleted or disabled at any time via your browser.

Non-consent cookies: session cookies, security cookies.

Consent cookies: statistical (e.g. Google Analytics 4), marketing (e.g. Meta Pixel).

Consent may be modified at any time in the cookie settings panel; upon withdrawal, non-essential cookies are disabled.

International data transfers:
Use of Google and Meta may involve transfers to third countries. Such transfers are based on EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary safeguards, in compliance with applicable electronic communications and advertising laws.

4. Further Information about Website Data Processing
Personal data are provided voluntarily during registration. Please ensure accuracy. If you provide another person’s data, we assume you are authorised to do so.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, free of charge. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

Typical Data Fields and Retention:

5. Direct Marketing and Newsletter

You may consent to the use of your data for marketing and newsletters during or after registration.

Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6 (1)(a))

Retention: until withdrawal; deleted after 2 years of inactivity.

Unsubscribe: via link in each newsletter or by e-mail request.

Registration and newsletter subscription are separate purposes, managed in separate databases.

6. Competitions

We may run promotional games, with specific rules published separately on our website.

Purpose: to conduct participation and deliver prizes.

Retention: 6 months after closing of the game; 8 years for invoicing data.

7. Other Data Processing Issues

Data are transferred only within the framework set by law.

No transfer to non-EU countries except as noted above with safeguards.

We comply with requests from courts and authorities.

Employees and partners are bound by confidentiality.

Security Measures:

Organisational: access rights management, logging, training.

Technical: encryption, multi-factor authentication, updates, firewall, backups.

Incident handling: affected individuals and authorities are notified within 72 hours if required.

8. Your Rights and Remedies

You have the right to:

request information,

rectification, erasure, restriction,

object to processing,

exercise the right to data portability,

seek judicial remedy,

lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

9. Processing of Minors’ Data

Our services are not aimed at persons under 16.
Data provided without parental consent will be erased.

Budapest Life Insurance Summit

Participation conditions

1. Eligibility to participate

Applicants who are employees, agents or otherwise involved in promoting insurance sales activities of an insurance company, insurance brokerage company or other business entity engaged in insurance brokerage are eligible to participate in the Budapest Life Insurance Summit; who contribute to the state regulation of the insurance industry; and who participate in the work of a business entity or other organization supporting the industry.
Participation is also subject to submitting the application to the Money Culture Foundation and paying the participation fee by the deadline.

Az iparághoz közvetlenül nem kapcsolódó jelentkezők kizárólag külön kérelem alapján, meghívott vendégként vehetnek részt a Kongresszuson.

2. Ethical and behavioral standards

The participant must comply with the following standards:

  • Congress participation serves not only individual development and growth, but also the strengthening of industry standards.

  • The participant carries out his/her professional activities professionally, primarily representing the interests of his/her clients.

  • He is committed to promoting the social importance of life insurance.

  • A közösség érdekeit képes saját érdekei elé helyezni.

  • The congress may not be used for competitive job offers.

  • The participant's appearance and behavior convey the highest standards of business etiquette.

  • The participant is required to familiarize themselves with and comply with the MDRT Code of Ethics.

  • The participants behave as constructive members of the Hungarian community with their professional and human behavior.

  • Each participant is obligated to treat the other in a supportive, constructive, and appreciative manner.

  • It is prohibited to insult or defame any other participant in terms of their personality, religious or other beliefs, or origin.

  • A belépő badge másra történő átruházása tilos.

A Pénzkultúra Alapítvány Kuratóriuma fenntartja a jogot, hogy indoklás nélkül elutasítsa a jelentkezést. Az elutasítás esetén a befizetett részvételi díj teljes egészében visszatérítésre kerül.

3. Regisztráció és részvétel

  • A regisztráció a Kongresszus hivatalos weboldalán érhető el.

4. Data management

The participant accepts the data processing regulations. Image and audio recordings may be made at the Congress, which may be made public. By submitting the application, the participant consents to this.

5. Responsibility

The participant participates in the Congress at his/her own risk. He/she acknowledges that he/she may be exposed to an increased risk of infection at a large closed event. Violation of the terms of participation may result in immediate termination of the right to participate.

6. Personal and copyright rights

Taking photos is permitted, but video and audio recordings of the presentations are prohibited. The presentations and presented materials are protected by copyright and may only be distributed with the permission of the author.

7. Rules of conduct

The participant is obliged to treat others with respect and to refrain from any offensive or discriminatory behavior. Disruption of the event's professional programs and unethical business solicitation are prohibited.

8. Safety regulations

Participants are required to comply with on-site safety and health regulations. Dangerous objects are prohibited. In the event of an emergency, the organizers' instructions must be followed.

9. Cancellation conditions

  • In case of cancellation by the early bird deadline, 100% of the participation fee will be refunded.

  • In case of cancellation 6 weeks before the Congress, 50% of the fee will be refunded.

  • In case of cancellation within 6 weeks before the Congress, the participation fee is non-refundable.

10. Right to change the program

The organizer reserves the right to change the program, date, location and speakers.

11. Legal consequences

In case of violation of the participation conditions, the organizer has the right to exclude the participant with immediate effect, without refunding the participation fee.
